Built a WordPress and WooCommerce store with a custom theme matched to the jeweller's visual identity. The shop is the straightforward part. The operational layer is a Telegram bot the owner uses from her phone: add a product, edit a price, toggle featured, update stock, all via chat commands. Send a photo with a few keywords and Gemini Flash drafts the product copy. The owner approves or edits before anything goes live.
Transactional emails were reskinned to match the jeweller's brand rather than stock WooCommerce output. Cloudflare Turnstile replaced reCAPTCHA on checkout, lighter and no Google data sharing. During soft launch, a coming-soon gate held public traffic while keeping WooCommerce AJAX functional so the checkout could be tested end to end.
Owner manages catalogue without touching the WordPress admin. No more requests to upload or update products. Shipped in roughly three weeks from spec to launch.
